Implementing FOCUS for Cloud Cost Exchange between European Union Institutions

Under the initiative of the European Parliament, the European Parliament (EP) and the European Commission (EC) implemented in 2024 cloud cost data interchange according to the FOCUS standard between EC Cloud Broker custom tooling and client applications, such as the EP cloud management tooling based on a commercial platform. In this session, the responsible officials of the European Parliament will present this effort, the challenges faced, the benefits achieved and the lessons learned in such implementation of the FOCUS standard.
