At Capital One, we have moved away from static metrics to an Iterative Versioned Spend Efficiency Algorithm. By treating our metric logic like software—complete with release versions and configurable parameters—we have successfully added new cloud services and rightsizing business logic to our algorithms without disrupting enterprise performance tracking.
