Managing Software and SaaS Costs Beyond Cloud Infrastructure

As FinOps matures, its scope is expanding beyond traditional cloud infrastructure to encompass broader technology spending, including software and SaaS vendors like New Relic. In this session, we’ll share how our Cloud FinOps team was tasked by executive leadership to gain visibility into and reduce costs. By applying the same FinOps principles and practices used for cloud cost management—such as cost allocation, optimization strategies, and proactive reporting—we quickly identified inefficiencies, reduced spending, and provided teams with visibility into their usage and financial impact.
