FinOps Foundation’s Scholarship Fund is intended to enable open source developers and community members to attend when they would otherwise be unable due to lack of funding. FinOps Foundation is pleased to offer two types of scholarships; Diversity Scholarships & Need-Based Scholarships.
Diversity scholarships place an emphasis on funding applicants who are from historically underrepresented or untapped groups and/or those of lower socioeconomic status.
Need-based scholarships are for members of the community who may be unable to attend due to lack of funding, and do not work for a company that has the ability to fund your attendance.
The FinOps X Scholarship is defined as registration fund assistance only. Should you need Travel Funding, please complete this form.
Registration Scholarship recipients will receive a complimentary registration pass. Registration Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of need and impact. Selection will be made by an assembled group of reviewers who will assess each applicant’s request.
Receipt of a scholarship does not, on its own, guarantee entry to the event. Recipients need to adhere to The Linux Foundation COVID-19 rules and regulations. If the recipient does not meet COVID-19 requirements for the event, the scholarship is null and void. Please Note: Attendance at 2022 in-person events requires proof of vaccination.
